(4K) Heavy Aircraft Friday! Watching Airplanes, Plane Spotting Chicago O’Hare International AirportI hope this weekend finds you well. Just your standard awesome HAF video here with the usual incredible airplane action, LOTS of cargo, some Boeing 747s, some tri-holers, lots of landings, a couple specials, …and as is often the case, a few sneaky, pesky little jets that eluded me and got into the video somehow… 😉 But seriously, I do love those little guys.

Details… Filmed EVA Air three times in this video with all three liveries we see on a regular basis represented, old, new and “Hello Kitty”. They’ve actually been serving Chicago O’Hare for quite some time now but they almost always arrive at night and since I didn’t do a lot of planespotting last summer at ORD, this is the first time I’ve actually been able to include them in a video of mine in daylight hours with the exception of the last video I uploaded where you will see the special “Hello Kitty” livery at the very end there at sunset.

Landing Runway 28R
Got to do a few overheads here since 10C-28C closed this week for some construction work. Perfect time to do it due to the reduction in traffic. Been a little while since I’ve filmed
landings on 28R and the geography around the runway approach has changed a bunch
from what it was in years past so I got creative.

Special flight for two reasons: 1) First time catching a Delta 777-200LR at ORD,
2) even though Air India is a regular at ORD they usually come from Delhi, not Mumbai.
So flights from Mumbai are a rarity at ORD. This was a cargo flight carrying medical supplies.
