TOP 10 GO AROUNDS – AIRBUS A380, L1011 TRISTAR, BOEING 707 The most amazing go arounds I have ever filmed including an Airbus A380 go around, a Boeing 707, Airbus A330, Lockheed Tristar L1011 and many more. The aborted Airbus A380 landing was filmed at Amsterdam last year. Most of these go arounds were caused by crosswinds, sometimes with wind speeds up to 60 knots. It` s always amazing to watch an Airbus A380 land or depart but watching this A380 struggle with windy weather conditions was one of the most incredible aviation moments I have ever witnessed.

The Lockheed Tristar L1011 used to be my favorite airplane, when I was younger. I started creating avitaion videos in 2011 and shortly before the Tristar got retired I was able to film one of them doing training approaches at Brize Norton in 2012. While the L1011 initiated a go around I almost got blown away by the engines. This scene always reminds me of the film Pushing tin.
