AFI KLM E&M Scores New Russian Success With NordStar Airlines

 AFI KLM E&M has signed a long term contract with Taimyr Airlines (t/a NordStar) covering the repair and lease of the CFM56-7 engines equipping the Russian carrier’s fleet of Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft. AFI KLM E&M will also provide NordStar Airlines with APU support, the APU repairs being carried out by AFI KLM E&M’s subsidiary EPCOR.

AFI KLM E&M was able to win this new client over on the strength of the competitiveness, quality and Adaptiveness of its offer. “Being able to benefit from leased spare engines was a key factor in our decision,” said General Director of Taimyr Airlines, Kirill Buryy. “Supported via its vast Global Network AFI KLM E&M has the advantage to offer customers tailor made maintenance solutions. We are very pleased that Taimyr Airlines found its way to us and recognized the strength and quality of our capabilities” said Rob Pruim, Senior VP Sales International at AFI KLM E&M. “We are delighted to that Taimyr also opted for EPCOR expertise when it selected its APU provider” adds Romain Helmer, EPCOR Managing Director.
