AFI KLM E&M Scores New Russian Success With NordStar Airlines

 AFI KLM E&M has signed a long term contract with Taimyr Airlines (t/a NordStar) covering the repair and lease of the CFM56-7 engines equipping the Russian carrier’s fleet of Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft. AFI KLM E&M will also provide NordStar Airlines with APU support, the APU repairs being carried out by AFI KLM E&M’s subsidiary EPCOR.

AFI KLM E&M was able to win this new client over on the strength of the competitiveness, quality and Adaptiveness of its offer. “Being able to benefit from leased spare engines was a key factor in our decision,” said General Director of Taimyr Airlines, Kirill Buryy. “Supported via its vast Global Network AFI KLM E&M has the advantage to offer customers tailor made maintenance solutions.
