Ryanair Kicks-Off Euro 2012 Countdown With Dublin Airport Penalty Shoot-Out Challenge

Ryanair today (May 25) kicked-off the two-week countdown to Euro 2012 with a penalty shoot-out at Dublin Airport. Passengers travelling on Ryanair’s flight to Manchester were invited to take part in a spot-kick challenge at the departure gates, where successful penalty takers were entered into a draw to with free Ryanair flights.

Ireland were knocked out on penalties at their last major tournament, the 2002 World Cup, and if Giovanni Trapattoni’s men need any spot-kick advice, they’ll have a plane load of experts to turn to judging by today’s performances. Euro 2012 kicks-off in two weeks’ time and to celebrate, Ryanair has released 1million seats at fares from €15.99 for travel on Mon, Tue, Wed & Thur in July.
