Executive Board Member Peter Malanik leaves Austrian Airlines

 By mutual agreement, Peter Malanik (50), Chief Operating Officer at Austrian Airlines, will leave the carrier effective May 25. CEO Jaan Albrecht and CCO Karsten Benz will take over his responsibilities on the board. 



„The Supervisory Board extends its thanks to Dr. Malanik for his long-standing commitment and excellent work at Austrian Airlines, especially in his role as a member of the board since 2008. The great dedication Dr. Malanik brought to this position contributed significantly to keeping Austrian Airlines on course as a network carrier“, said Stefan H. Lauer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Austrian Airlines.
