Ljubljana, new Wizz Air destination from/to BSCA

Brussels South Charleroi Airport announced today the opening of a new route to Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. As from 29 October, this new route will be operated by Wizz Air twice a week. This is the 6th destination proposed by the Hungarian airline from Brussels South Charleroi Airport.

Ljubljana was build near the Alps in the centre of Slovenia on the Ljubljanica river. The turbulent history of the city (a Roman city destroyed by the Huns under Attila’s orders, and later by the Ostrogoths and Lombards) and two major earthquakes resulted in numerous architectural styles that makes it a captivating city to visit. Strolling in Ljubljana and crossing the Dragon bridge (the dragon is the symbol of the city) are a must-do.
