Air Moldova encreases the number of its foreign airline-partners

 Air Moldova airline has signed electronic interline agreement with “Aegean Aviation S.A.” (A3) Limited (STAR ALIANCE member) that already came in force since 20.03.2012. 


The agreement will allow each of the parties to sell transportations on routes of other party using electronic ticket. Before that there was only one possibility – by issuing paper tickets. This procedure is rarely used and basically eliminated by worldwide airlines. 


Aegean Aviation S.A. is one of the leading Greek airlines. Aegean Aviation S.A. hub in Athens (Elefthérios Venizélos airport) is an important European gateway. The company’s route network comprises of 40 international destinations to Europe, North America and Middle East and 19 local. 

Air Moldova airline flies direct to 19 destinations – Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Antalya, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut and Kiev, offering to its passengers two Classes of service – Business and Economy. 

On February 17, 2012 “Air Moldova”, a national airline of Moldova, was awarded with a Diploma of the Inter-governmental Aviation Committee (IAC) “For achievements in aviation security field”. 

On 2nd of February 2012, state airline Air Moldova were awarded with “Gold Mercury” as the winner of “Year’s favorite” nomination in “Trade mark of 2011” competition – the achievement of all national carriers’s staff members. This fact confirms the highest level of offered services by flag carrier of national civil aviation.
