Perth Airport Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that it has awarded a 10 year advertising contract to APN Outdoor (Trading) Pty Ltd.

APN Outdoor has worked with Perth Airport for many years and will provide advertising services to existing and new facilities within Perth Airport’s terminals, as well as outdoor opportunities across the airport estate.

Perth Airport General Manager Commercial Services Scott Norris said that APN Outdoor submitted a strong strategy for growth supported by a number of leading-edge initiatives.

“APN Outdoor offered an innovative solution for managing Perth Airport’s advertising business during a time of extensive transformation,” Mr Norris said.

“An important part of Perth Airport’s redevelopment objectives is enhancing the customer experience and this new advertising program will certainly assist with this outcome.

“We have enjoyed a strong partnership with APN Outdoor as our outdoor advertising provider for over a decade and look forward to continuing this relationship over the next 10 years.”

Richard Herring, Chief Executive Officer, APN Outdoor also commented, “This successful bid reflects

APN Outdoor’s understanding of Perth Airport’s growth plans and subsequent requirement for a flexible asset development plan in the area of external and internal asset integration.”

Over the past seven years, the number of passengers travelling through Perth Airport has doubled, with 11.5 million passengers recorded in the last financial year, making Perth Airport the fastest growing capital city airport in Australia.

To support this growth and the future demand for air services, $750 million is being invested to ensure Perth Airport delivers a great airport experience. The first stage of the redevelopment will see the construction of a new terminal to cater primarily for regional services, as well as an extension and upgrade to the current International Terminal and construction of a new shared domestic/international pier.

These extensive works will take place in stages across the airport estate and are the first steps towards achieving a consolidated airport.
