GOOD BYE BOEING 747 of KLM – A B747 FAREWELL with a best of<!–more–>t`s quite sad to see the Boeing 747 slowly disappear from the skies around the world. Last sunday Qantas and KLM operated their last Boeing 747 passenger flights. That` s why I decided to show you my favorite encounters with the iconic Boeing 747 of KLM. Of course famous St. Maarten is included aswell. KLM was a Boeing 747 operator since the early days of the Boeing 747-200 classic. It` s still hard to believe their won` t be any passenger B747` s left in the dutch skies from now on.

Luckily the Boeing 747 Freighter will stay in the KLM Cargo fleet which will make it possible for us planespotters to watch the Jumbos land on the famous Polderbaan for a few more years.

Last year I already filmed the last Boeing 747 flight of another company. Kuwait Airways also retired its sole B747 and I was at Enschede to film the last landing of this airframe. In the meantime the aircraft has been broken up for parts and it`s completly gone which is quite sad.
