Here’s an excellent catch from the past two weeks and one which I was not expecting to get in Toronto at all, an Air France Airbus A340-300 in the Joon Livery. For all we knew, several of these aircraft were being parted out for scrap as Air France is retiring the Airbus A340-300 from the fleet but it looks as if a few have remained. And thanks to some fellow avgeeks, we got the heads up that there was one coming in on this very Wednesday in the Joon Livery. Joon was an airline that Air France started as a subsidiary to the airline in December, 2017 but ceased operations in June, 2019 with several aircraft still in Joon livery with this Airbus A340-300 being one of them.
AFR356 arrived in Toronto on RWY 23 at 1639hrs from Paris and parked on the outer edge of Terminal 3 where it offloaded and on loaded. The flight then pushed and departed as AFR351 off of RWY 24R at 1857hrs back to Paris. Enjoy the video!
