Here is another Captain’s Retirement I was able to capture!
This is Captain Rick on his final flight after 40 Years of Service with Air Canada. Just outstanding. By the far the highest serving Air Canada Captain that I have ever got landing and probably will ever catch landing. Captain Rick arrived around 1700hrs on the evening of December 20th with the Boeing 777-300ER as ACA002 from Tokyo Haneda to a perfect landing on RWY 05.
Props to the Captain for thanking the Air Traffic Controllers on Arrival for all their service over his 40 years. He received positive responses back from Arrival as well as Tower, Ground and Apron whom which they congratulated him on his retirement, the first two being featured in this video.
