FIRST! Lufthansa Cargo New Livery McDonnell Douglas MD-11F @ Toronto Pearson Int’l March 19, 2018Well, here she is! The very first visit of a Lufthansa New Livery to Toronto Pearson Int’l and it comes in the form of the very first McDonnell Douglas MD-11F painted in the New Livery from Lufthansa Cargo, D-ALCB, here’s how it all unfolded:

The other day a friend of mine alerted us that a Lufthansa Cargo McDonnell Douglas MD-11F, GEC8220 had filed from Frankfurt to Toronto. Normally we wouldn’t care much because these birds do come every now and then but we did catch a bit of interest to see if it would be the new livery. Well, the next day we all saw it was D-ALCB and instantly realized that it was so several of us headed out to RWY 05 to catch this bird landing. Perhaps Lufthansa Cargo sent it here specifically to showcase the New Livery as fast as they could on this bird. As a matter of fact, I do believe this is the first flight for this bird since she was given this new look! For my personal view, its a different livery with an interesting look, kind of miss the yellow too of course. What do you all think?
