2X! Boeing 777 Go Around’s! Air France and Air Canada @ Toronto Pearson Int’l August 13th, 2017Hello everyone! Welcome to this video! Here is a fantastic capture I was able to make. Finally filming some go-around’s. And what better aircraft to do it with than two Boeing 777-300ER’s!
I was with nottsboy24, a subscriber of mine, doing some plane spotting on this lovely Sunday afternoon in August on the parking garage by RWY 23. So far, the day was fantastic! And then this happened. An aircraft was given takeoff clearance to depart on RWY 23 with an Air France Boeing 777-300ER on short final. I started filming because I knew there was not enough separation between the two and I was right, the ATC Controller told Air France to pull up and go-around straight away! Amazing! Those General Electric GE-90 engines ripped away! But there’s more, roughly thirty minutes later, an Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER was coming in on final for RWY 23 with an aircraft on the takeoff roll so I quickly rushed to film since that was yet another go-around that the ATC Controller told them to do. Fantastic, two go-around’s in less than thirty minutes!
