2x RCAF CF-18 Hornet’s Landing

RARE: 2x RCAF CF-18 Hornet’s Landing RWY 23 @ Toronto Pearson Int’l November 27, 2016Hello everyone! Welcome to this video! You know what a great treat is at CYYZ, whenever a military aircraft comes in. Yesterday, two RCAF CF-18 Hornets landed at Hamilton to do the Vanier Cup Flyover. After that was done, the second Hornet had mechanical problems and was unable to fly, meaning it could not fly for today’s Grey Cup Flyover at BMO Field at 1830hrs local. So luckily, the RCAF sent in another Hornet to Hamilton and then the two flew to downtown Toronto for the Flyover and then regrouped to land on RWY 23 at Toronto Pearson Int’l as QUILL11. After the landing, we headed to Landmark which is exactly where they parked, and in a perfect position too. What an awesome night! Departure will probably be on Monday sometime. Enjoy the video! 🙂
