FSX/FS2004 – DHC-4 Caribou Pratt & Whitney R-2000 Sounds. Accurate, true to life sound set for the ultimate flight sim experience. The de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou (designated by the United States military as the CV-2 and later C-7 Caribou) is a Canadian-designed and produced specialized cargo aircraft with short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability. The Caribou was first flown in 1958 and although mainly retired from military operations, is still in use in small numbers
as a rugged “bush” aircraft. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney R-2000 Twin Wasp radial engines. This sound will work in FS2004 and FSX. It captures the very distinct (and loud) sound of the Pratt and Whitney R2000 twin wasp engine. All files are actual recordings taken from a Caribou. As real as it gets!
