U.S. Air Force C-17’s and C-130’s take off from Aviano Air Base, Italy to drop equipment and soldiers from the 173 Airborne Brigade, April 11, 2016 during Exercise Saber Junction 16. Saber Jucntion 16 evaluates and assesses U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Brigade’s ability to conduct land operations in a joint environment and to promote interoperability with participating allied and partner nations.
