Iron Maiden Ed Force One Boeing 747-400 Landing

RARE: Iron Maiden Ed Force One Boeing 747-400 Landing RWY 23 @ Toronto Pearson Int’l April 2, 2016Hello everyone! Here is one of the most anticipated and most awaited catches of the whole year! Iron Maiden’s Boeing 747-400 Ed Force One. It all started with spotting at RWY 24R in the morning until noon, where we had Zets for lunch and assembled at RWY 23 at the Parking Garage, waiting for 2 hours for this bird to come in. 30min before it landed, a vicious snow/ice storm hit us on top of the garage and threatened to kill our Iron Maiden shots for the day. But luckily, the storm only stayed for 20 min before moving on eastwards. And then the moment came, when ABD666 called in on 127.0 and was assigned RWY 23 for landing to the cheers to all of us. And then we just waited, for this bird to show up, and when she did, it was a feeling like no other. Capt Bruce Dickinson flew the approach like a pro and absolutely greased the landing. They then taxied off the end of the RWY on Hotel, to RWY 15R, to Juliet and were then towed backwards on Kilo into the North Lounge. I was told not to go to North Lounge, even though many people were there, so I went afterwards on the other side of Derry Rd to get this bird parked there. A truly awesome and iconic Boeing 747-400. Enjoy the video everyone, I’ll catch you all in the next one and Thanks to everyone who came out to see the plane today! Cheers!
