Return of Eastern Airlines @ Toronto Pearson Int’l March 17, 2016Hello everyone! This is going to be one of the shortest video I will probably ever upload but I had to get a shot of this aircraft once and for all. This was the Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-700/Winglets parked at the North Lounge in Toronto. The team (Florida Panthers) who acquired a contract with Eastern Airlines to charter them arrived early Wednesday morning to play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night. I was hoping for them to come Wednesday afternoon, since the game vs. the Leafs was on Thursday but their game in Tuesday was in Montreal vs. the Montreal Canadiens, so that meant they would come here right after the game and sure enough they did. Unfortunately, it was at 1am in the morning, so I headed out Thursday afternoon to get this beauty at the North Lounge. It is supposed to return on Sunday, April 3, 2016 to vs. the Leafs the next day. Hopefully, an afternoon arrival will come to place since that’ll be the last time to see this bird for this NHL season. It’s so nice to see them return to service and to Toronto since 1991 when they ceased ops. That’s all for now everyone, Enjoy the video and I’ll catch you in the next one!
