The conditions were generally pretty good on the day of the first landing, so maybe a rogue gust or patch of turbulence caused the bounce. A good advert for the landing gear manufacturers.

The second landing is included to balance things a bit, with perfectly-timed flare (lifting the nose to halt descent) producing a smooth landing.
