Smoker PlanesThe planes in this video are all pretty old – more recent types generally don’t smoke anything like as much.

Of course, I had to include a couple of shots of one of my favourite planes, the very old Antonov An-12. Also included is a Tupolev Tu-154 and numerous shots of Boeing 757’s. The 757’s with the old Rolls Royce RB211 engines seem particularly prone to this.

All fumes visible in the video are real, but many of the shots have enhanced contrast to bring out the full glory.
