Hello everyone! Here is the departure of yesterday’s big bird. The Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i in the Retro Livery was out of here. So me and a few friends stayed to catch the departure. We parked down at RWY 06L and waited for the aircraft. He called in on Clearance with a PDC which didn’t give us the RWY obviously but we knew he was going to take RWY 06L for takeoff. As soon as he started his taxi, he was instructed RWY 06L by Ground, so we got into position to film the departure. He taxied up to us on Delta and then lined up on RWY 06L and took off out of here. This has truly gotta be the Best Boeing 747 I have ever seen and I do hope that I can see it again one day. Enjoy the video all and I’ll catch you in the next one!
