FSX – RAF Woodhall Spa

FSX – RAF Woodhall Spa, England. RAF Woodhall Spa opened in February 1942 and was typical of bomber stations of the time in Lincolnshire. It had 2 T2 Hangers and 1 B1 hanger. The station was located south west of the town from where it got its name. The Station closed for flying at the end of WW11 and finished with the RAF in the 60s when 2 Squadrons of the surface to air missiles of Bloodhounds were relocated. It is now the site of a holiday park. I have attempted to re-produce the unit as it may of looked during its war years but as photographs are scarce some of it may not be true to life, but I am sure the simer’s amongst us will enjoy having another airfield to fly in to in the Lincolnshire Bomber county.
