Kai Tak Landings: Hong Kong airport 1998

Hong Kong’s old Kai Tak airport offered spectacular opportunities for plane watching. Approaching aircraft were required to make a sharp turn before skirting the tops of buildings and landing on a narrow runway in the harbor. These landing shots were taken just before Kai Tak was closed in July 1998.
