FSX – Scenery Slipper Island Airfield. Welcome to Slipper Island (Whakahau) Airfield (NZSR), located offshore in the Coromandel region of the North Island of New Zealand, 4 nm southeast of Pauanui Beach Airfield. Slipper Island is one of New Zealand’s few privately owned islands and is accessible either by aircraft or by boat from Tairua, 6 nm away on the Coromandel Peninsular.
