How to land. FSX Landing Tutorial with 737

Tutorial on how to land a 737 in fsx. See FAQ’s and scripted tips below. This is all visually done as to help simmers learn to improve landings (visual approach).

-*Don’t use reverse thrust under 60 kts*.
-Landing with a heavy load or tank makes landing harder in almost every way. It also might break a limitation on the plane.
-Find a zone of no-movement where the view of a certain point in the distance in front of you (should be the beginning of the runway) should appear to not move while everything else around this point blurs and does move. This no-movement point is essentially where the plane will contact the ground if you just kept flying straight at it. You eventually pull up or round out/flare to land.

Q: I have trouble lining up straight with the runway on landing?
A: Remember where the center line of the runway is in relation to the dashboard of the plane when you’re on the runway and you know your perfectly lined up straight and not moving. When u come in landing keep the center-line on that related section of the dashboard as you approach for landing and get closer. Get a joystick if you don’t have one.

Q: How do I know what buttons do what?
A: Go to the “Kneeboard” under “Aircraft” in the fsx tool bar while in free flight (access tool bar by pressing “Alt”) and then while in Kneeboard, go to “Keys”
