Benjamin Driggs named President of Honeywell Brazil

aviation_newsHoneywell named Benjamin Driggs as President of Honeywell Brazil, effective July 1, 2013. Driggs will work to promote Honeywell businesses that have significant future potential and are steadily growing in the region. Brazil has outstanding potential in many of Honeywell’s markets including oil and gas, refining and chemicals, construction, mining, and automobiles.

Driggs joined Honeywell in 2004 as Director of Strategic Marketing for Commercial Aerospace and Business Aviation. In 2006, he assumed the role of Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Propulsion Engines. In 2009, Driggs was appointed Vice President, Aircraft Components/Regional Aircraft and in January 2010, he accepted the role of Vice President, Asia Original Equipment Manufacturers for Aerospace.

In these roles, Driggs was involved in major sales pursuits, key partnership and contract negotiations, business assessment for investments, and strategic partnerships for some of Honeywell’s largest and most complex multi-billion dollar programs.

Globalization is a key part of Honeywell’s growth initiative. During the next decade, high growth regions are expected to contribute more than 70% of the world’s growth. There is great opportunity for Honeywell to address some of the world’s toughest challenges including improving infrastructure to meet the needs of growing populations and enabling customers to deliver safer and more reliable hydrocarbon fuels within these regions.
