FSX – Default Grumman Goose Flight Dynamics FDE

fsx_01

FSX – Default Grumman Goose Flight Dynamics FDE. New flight dynamics for the default and OZx Grumman Goose, incorporating multiple changes and improvements. Included are a new air file (FDE), a new aircraft.cfg file, and a fix for the fuel gauge. This package is intended to improve the “feel”, and to simulate a more realistic operation and handling of the aircraft. In addition to improving how the FSX Goose flies, extensive work has gone into how the engines and propellers are simulated. Please read the readme and changelog files included in this package for details and important information. By Lloyd Dixon.

  • Hi,
I tried the new flight dinamics on the OZx Grumman.
However, it doesn’t function if the instructions are followed.
However, when I DIDN’T delete the letter A for the panel in the config file, the plane did show up again. With 110 gallons on board the fuel meter shows 170, however.
    Will now test the flying

  • Hi,
I have tried some options for using the new files with the OZx Grumman.
1 Backup as per instructions; unzip tyhe downloaded file.as per instructions
    2. Copy and paste the air file and the cfg file from the unzipped folder to the fsx/simobjects/airplanes/Grumman_Goose_G21A folder. When asked let overwrite
3 Copy the Grumman_Goose_G21A.CAB file from the unzipped panel folder into the Panel.A folder inside the fsx/simobjects/airplanes/Grumman_Goose_G21A folder. When asked let overwrite
4 Copy the extra liveries out of the backup cfg file into the new cfg file as per instructions.
    5. DO NOT DELETE the letter A in the extra liveries in the panel = A line !!!!
Now the new files and panel function.
