Peter Gabriel Calls The ISS

hqdefaultAboard the International Space Station, Expedition 34 Commander Kevin Ford of NASA, Flight Engineer Tom Marshburn of NASA and Flight Engineer Chris Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency were treated to a late afternoon call from entertainer Peter Gabriel on Feb. 20 during a visit to the Johnson Space Center’s ISS Flight Control Room at Mission Control in Houston. Gabriel and his family were the guests of astronaut Ron Garan during a tour of the center’s facilities.

Gabriel discussed life and work on orbit with the three crew members and was treated to a few chords of music from Hadfield, who is never far from his guitar aboard the orbital laboratory.
