Jetlantic VA Announces Network Expansion

Jetlantic Virtual Airways is happy to announce a major network expansion on one of its oldest operations – Vagar in the Faroe Islands. Instead of a single aircraft as until now, Jetlantic has just purchased two Avro RJ aircraft – one RJ70 and one RJ85 – to be based in the archipelago. Used but in excellent condition (previously owned by Malmo Aviation and Brussels Airlines), these four-engined jets are outstanding performers in the unique and extreme conditions of the archipelago. The fleet expansion, coupled with the recent expansion of Vagar’s runway, will allow for a precious boost to Jetlantic’s Faroe operations.

Current destinations served from the Faroe Islands include Copenhagen, Billund, Bornholm, Stockholm-Bromma, Malmo, Oslo, Bergen, Helsinki, Reykjavik, Keflavik, Isafjordur, Paris-Orly, Marseille, London-City, Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Sumburgh, Dublin, Cork, Galway, Porto and Ponta Delgada.
