AeroSvit commences flights from Kyiv to Karaganda (Kazakhstan)

 AeroSvit – Ukrainian Airlines will launch flights between Kyiv and Karaganda, a large industrial, scientific and cultural center of Kazakhstan, on May 30th, 2012. The carrier will fly to Kazakhstan city twice a week – on Wednesday and Sunday. The flight between the two points will take approximately four hours and a half. 


AeroSvit offers carriages to Karaganda via Kyiv to passengers from ’s largest cities as well as other cities of Europe, North America, Middle East, Transcaucasia, including Hamburg , Dusseldorf , Stuttgart , Frankfurt , Berlin , London , Prague , Vilnius , Brussels , Milan , Rome , Tbilisi , Tel Aviv, New York and Toronto . 

Karaganda will be the fifth city on AeroSvit’s map of routes. 

Being the largest carrier, flying between and , AeroSvit performs scheduled flights from Kyiv to Almaty (since April 2008), Astana (since April 2009), Aktau (since May 2011) and seasonal (June-September) flights to Kostanay (since 2011). 


As early as a year ago, in response to the growing demand for carriages between and , AeroSvit tripled (compared to summer 2010) the frequency of flights between the two countries. In particular, on Kyiv-Almaty and Kyiv-Astana routes the frequency grew up to 7 flights per week. 

In summer season 2012 AeroSvit will continue developing air communication between the cities of both countries. Along with introduction of the new route Kyiv-Karaganda, the airline also intends to increase the number of flights from to Aktau and Kostanay from 2 up to 3 per week to each of the cities. 

Flights schedule 

On Sundays and Wednesdays departures from Kyiv are scheduled for 21:30 with arrival to Karaganda at 05:15 local time the next day. On Mondays and Thursdays the flights will depart from Karaganda early in the morning at 07:15 a.m. local time with arrival to Kyiv at 08:25.
