Announcing VPIAV Alliance

Virtual PIA, also referred to as VPIA is Pakistan’s first and largest regular virtual airline. Since 2005, we have been serving the needs of flight simmers in Pakistan, and around the world, the best we can. Over this time, our team of developers has worked hard to represent Pakistan and Pakistani aviation in the world of flight simulator – our work is fully freeware, and featured at over 15 flight simulation web sites, including the world’s largest, avsim.com and flightsim.com.

Virtual PIA acts as a platform for virtual pilots at all levels of the hobby, and supports both online and offline flying. The organization has pioneered the way for Pakistani pilots on vatsim, in addition to providing controller coverage and pertinent aeronautical information.

Over the years Virtual PIA has developed associations with several virtual airlines, and esteemed organizations such as VATSIM, flightsim.com, avsim.com, GreekSim flight magazine, VFRreviews.com and world famous simulation magazine PC Pilot, on which VPIA is one of the featured virtual airlines. We are also honored to work with a large number of photographers, and several professional photographers from other web sites also contribute their work for our projects.

Pakistan International Airlines Virtual is Pakistan’s second oldest virtual airline, and is known for going to the next level in flight simulation, by adopting the Virtual Airline Financial Systems or VAFS. This allows the organization to virtually operate finances. PIAV, as it is also referred to, also hosts online sessions on the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation network.

Virtual PIA and PIAV are now joining hands to form the ‘VPIAV’ alliance, which will allow both organizations to pool resources, and use each others strengths to improve the prevailing scene for Pakistani flight simulation enthusiasts. Together, both organizations will be able to offer pilots many new exciting features, including new add-ons, events, and more, regular, online sessions, and generally aid the development of flight simulation in Pakistan.

Long live unity of the pilots.
