FS2004 – Yellowknife floats CEN9

FS2004 – Yellowknife floats CEN9 is on the north shore of Great Slave Lake, and the float base is on Yellowknife Bay, east of Yellowknife airport. The float base is in two parts on each side of Latham Island and the promontory that reaches out to it (which is where the town of Yellowknife was originally founded) and float planes land either in Back Bay (to the west) or in East Bay (guess?). Where the south end of the island meets the promontory there are two inlets and two companies; Air Tindi in the eastern part and North Airways in the western. These two companies have bespoke buildings. I have used other buildings to model the “feel” of the original Yellowknife and the docks along the shore, plus a few of the scattered house boats in the area. There is an aerial view at 0:47 in the video. By Roger Wensley.
