Budapest Airport joins forces with National Tourism Office and partners to promote Budapest to inbound visitors this winter
Foreign visitors are being enticed with a range of highly attractive promotions including a free night’s stay in one of the city’s three, four and five star hotels, a free visit to a traditional spa and a discounted Budapest city tourist card.
When foreign visitors spend three or four nights at a participating hotel, they can enjoy the last night on a complimentary basis as well as a free visit to a spa. Equally, hotel guests can take advantage of the discounted Budapest Card to discover the capital with free public transport and free or reduced entry to more than 100 attractions, venues, and restaurants. Tourists are encouraged to visit www.budapestwinter.com to take advantage of the BWI promotion.
In addition to Budapest Airport, Wizz Air www.wizzair.com and travel portals Expedia, Hotels.com and Legenda Ltd are also supporting the campaign. Kam Jandu, Director of Aviation at Budapest Airport said: “Budapest Airport is pleased to support the Hungarian Tourist Office with this highly popular promotion. According to the Hungarian National Tourist Office, previous BWI campaigns have successfully generated between 25,000 and 70,000 extra guest nights over the course of the winter campaign. Target markets of the BWI campaign include: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Nordic countries, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia.
