Domestic Drones Coming Soon

The Federal Aviation Administration is going to propose new rules for the use of small drones in January, setting the stage for other law enforcement departments to get their own drones.
So far the FAA has issued 266 active testing permits for civilian unmanned aerial vehicles, but these devices have yet to reach wide-spread use of national airspace due to initial safety concerns. But this move will open the doors for drone makers like AeroVironment to shop its variety of drones around to 18,000 police departments nationwide.
