FS2004 Goast Guard Performance Craft. These are concepts for another adaption of the “Flightbox” personnel containment system for small research transport systems. The twist in these is that they use hydraulic (water) pressures and efficiencies to propel the craft, but use the air (and the lower resistance thereof) for support. This has an added benefit of being able to handle larger waves more effectively, without losing speed. The design will not sink (foam sandwich), and the physics can be scaled all the way up to the fast boat use by the Seals, to a small destroyer sized vessel. By Kevin Espeseth. 8 Mb
