FS2004 US Navy Sikorsky JRS-1, U.S. Navy VJ-1 Squadron 1-J-1. Sikorsky twin-engine amphibian built in 1937. Military version of S-43. Used by U.S. Navy and Marines for utility transport, photography, target towing. JRS-1s were based at Pearl Harbor in December 1941. Top speed over 190 mph. Can take off in 900 feet, in 15 seconds. Range 775 miles at cruising speed of 177 mph. FSDS3.5 model with virtual cockpit, radio operator compartment, passenger cabin, sliding side doors and aerial camera position aft.
