FSX De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver D-FVIP

FSX De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver D-FVIP The Beaver ‘D-FVIP’ (c/n 1512), owned by the German operator Himmelsschreiber Azur GmbH and based in the Port of Hamburg, was used for several years for sightseeing tours over Hamburg. On the 2 July 2006 the plane crashed shortly after takeoff due to an engine failure caused by a carburetor fire. The pilot tried to make an emergency landing on a railway road but the plane stalled and hit a wagon. Sadly, the pilot and four of the five passengers died in this accident. This is a repaint for the FSX default Beaver. By Tim Scharnhop. 7 Mb
