FS2004 Lake Hood Scenery, Anchorage, Alaska (AK). Lake Hood is the largest and busiest floatplane base in the world. This scenery is a representation based on satellite images and what few photographs could be found. Google Earth images were used to locate the major buildings and determine their sizes. This is not a scenic area. There are no cozy cabins. From the overhead photos it appears to be just a dense, cluttered, and utilitarian area and this guided the appearance given to the buildings for the scenery. By John L. Woodward. 1,5 Mb
