FS2004 Scenery–Danish Airports Fotoreal. EKRK-Copenhagen Airport Roskilde Scenery. The scenery is created with more than 300 digital photos, comprising the airport’s 63 buildings; very detailed. In real life EKRK is used by business travellers and VIPs, wanting a quick and easy gateway to Denmark and Greater Copenhagen Area, and serves as a relief for the heavily trafficked international airport Kastrup. Hence, traffic is mainly light jets and large, medium and small size propeller planes. EKRK has two runways 03/21 at 1500x32m and 11/29 at 1799x32m, ILS equipped. The airport serves as a custom and immigration point for international flights, and a base for all major Danish air taxi companies. From 1st October 2004, the Royal Danish Air Force stationed its SAR unit Esk. 722 here too.
