FS2004 Scenery–Taszar (US Air Force Base), Hungary. In Hungary, there are 22 (mostly ex-military, and abandoned) concrete runways. This is Taszar “Kaland” AFB, located further south of the lake Balaton. It was the base of the Hungarian 31 “Kapos” Fighter-“Recce” Regiment, equipped with 24 MiG-21bis and 12 Su-22M3 in 1997, when it was disbanded. Since 1995, the US Air Force uses the base.
