FS2004 Scenery–Brooklyn CGAS, NY. Started out as Floyd Bennett Field. Constructed on the site of Barren Island and additional landfill, Floyd Bennett Field was New York City’s first municipal airport. The airport is located in the southern part of Brooklyn between Flatbush Avenue and Jamaica Bay, and was completed in 1930. The airport initially had only two perpendicular runways. The terminal building was topped by an air traffic control tower. The tower was not originally all glass. That came later. This scenery goes retro in an attempt to capture several eras of the facility. Requires ASDv2.1, Nova, Nova Gold and NovaSim textures. Traffic Tools and AFCAD2 are also required. Lago’s FSE is optional. By John B. Loney, Jr. 450 Kb
