70th Anniversary Of The Electra L-10. The prototype of the Lockheed 10 Electra registration X233Y was tested by Marshall Headle at Mines Field, Los Angeles on February 23, 1934. It first went into service with Northwest Airlines in June 1934, and within twelve months they operated a fleet of thirteen aircraft.
