BOEING 777 BIRDSTRIKE at Amsterdam + AIRBUS A380 LANDING on a wet runwayThis Boeing 777 of Lan Cargo flew through a flock of birds while approaching runway 18R at Amsterdam. Sadly two of these birds hit the engine and the belly of the airplane. The B777 didn` t get damaged. Sometimes Birdstrikes are a big danger, especially when they occur during takeoffs. A few month ago an Airbus A321 of Ural Airlines had to perform an emergency landing after losing both engines due to mutliple birdstrikes. The aircraft landed safely in a corn field and all pax were able to leave the plane.

I also included an Airbus A380 of Emirates which departed just ahead of an AIrbus A319 of British Airways. I never get tired of watching this massive ship hover through the skies.
