Ukraine Air Alliance Antonov An-12BP Departure RWY 06L | Toronto Pearson Int’lHere is a Ukraine Air Alliance Antonov An-12BP departing off of RWY 06L at Toronto Pearson Int’l heading to Shannon.

Over the past week there had been three of these movements into Toronto so I am glad to have caught one of them. Ukraine Air Alliance Antonov An-12’s are much harder to get than CAVOK Air’s since CAVOK Air’s flight plan is view-able on Flight Aware and are easily tracked on Flight Radar 24 as opposed to Ukraine Air Alliance who’s flight plans do not show up on Flight Aware and they only appear on Flight Radar 24 in heavily populated regions.

With Monday having the first movement and Thursday having the second movement, Satruday had the third movement, UKL4009 coming from St. John’s. The flight arrived on RWY 05 shortly after 0800hrs and parked Cargo West 501. I didn’t see it unload or offload any cargo since I got to the airport around 1300hrs and checked it out every so often but got busy filming other things in the process. I was just leaving as well when I got a heads up of it taxiing to RWY 06L as UKL4009. Racing back, I was able to get the departure perfectly, and with smoke of course 😉 love these old birds.
