Three Boeing 747’s De-Icing @ Toronto Pearson Int’l December 11, 2018After work on this day, I headed out to the Central De-Icing Facility (CDF) with the aim to catch three Boeing 747-400’s from three European Airlines; KLM, Lufthansa and British Airways who was sending in the 747’s for a period of two weeks to Toronto for the Christmas rush.

And, as we had it, after 1800hrs the precipitation got in and the Queen’s called in for De-Ice. First up was British Airways who de-iced on Pad 3C, followed by KLM who also de-iced on the same Pad and then Lufthansa who de-iced on Pad 1. Mission accomplished!
