B-52 Stratofortress Touch And Go At RAF FairfordA B-52H Stratofortress conducts operations at RAF Fairford, England, on Jan. 10, 2018. The 5th Bomb Wing is deployed to RAF Fairford in support of bomber assurance and deterrence operations. The deployment of strategic bombers helps exercise United States air forces in Europe’s forward operating location for bombers. Training with joint partners, allied nations, and other U.S. Air Force units helps the 5th Bomb Wing contribute to ready and postured forces.
