VERY FIRST! Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-941 Departure @ Toronto Pearson Int’l January 6, 2018Hello everyone! Welcome to this video!

Well, by the luck of the draw, I headed out to Toronto Pearson Int’l on this Friday evening after I went to a Killers concert to pick up my brother from work. In -30 degrees Celsius too, bone chilling cold. But I did get lucky, as the Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-900 that had diverted the day before as CPA890 was scheduled to depart at 2150 had been pushed back all the way till 0100. When I got there, I heard him call on push back from the Hotel gates so it was confirmed he was going out with a request to go to de-ice as well.

CPA890 requested de-ice so PAD3C was given to him. It was really cool to watch the very first Airbus A350 in Toronto de-ice for the first time in history. After he finished de-icing, I headed over to RWY 06L to catch his departure heading out to Newark Liberty. What an awesome sight that was too, glad I was able to capture it!
