The Patrouille de France flew over the Academy on April 19. The aircraft are on a seven week tour of the U.S. to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War I and reaffirm historic ties between the two countries. They will perform 30 transit flights and 12 demonstration flights during commemorations and air shows, meet military demonstration teams Thunderbirds and Blue Angels, and fly over nine symbolic monuments of the Franco-American relationship.
