Air Canada Lufthansa Toronto Pearson Int’l December 2016 and January 2017Hello everyone and welcome! Here in this video I have uploaded a special request from a friend of mine. If you’ve been reading my descriptions over the past couple of videos (which I hope you have), this is the Hungarian friend of mine, Attila, arriving and departing to Hungary. The arrival was through a connecting flight from Budapest- Munich and then Munich- Toronto on the Air Canada ACA847 Boeing 777-300ER flight that I caught him landing RWY 23 on Monday, December 19, 2016 from the parking garage. Just as the last bits of light were fading away.
The Departure was from Toronto- Frankfurt and then a connecting flight from Frankfurt- Budapest and the first leg was done on the Lufthansa DLH471 Boeing 747-400 flight, lucky guy, hopefully I get to fly on a Boeing 747-400 before they are all retired. I was originally at RWY 06L for his departure when I checked his flight plan which showed his departure on a SID that usually takes RWY 05 and sure enough, as I made my way over there, he was given a RWY 05 departure from Clearance, so I went to RWY 23 and got him taking off over the parking garage. Perfect viewpoint as well, the landing and takeoff in the same place. Enjoy the video everyone! 🙂 Farewell Attila, and hope to see you soon back at YYZ.
